LIFESKILLS & FITNESS 4 YOUTH

A ten week program structured around the school term to support your teen or pre-teen to develop their sense of self, confidence and responsibility.

If you find yourself with a young person who:

  • Lacks motivation
  • Shirks their responsibilities
  • Engages in anti-social behavior
  • Cannot control their anger or other strong emotions
  • Makes you feel worried for their future

Then Lifeskills & Fitness 4 Youth is the program for you

This program will help teens and pre-teens discover the triggers and reasons behind their unhelpful behaviours. By doing this, they will become more aware of how to act responsibly and assertively to achieve a happier and more balanced life.

This workshop not only engages youth in mental and emotional work but provides a space for them to be active and physically motivate themselves to achieve and work hard.

Using both counselling and exercise, this workshop will help youth to manage their emotions, build their self-esteem and gain perspective on their priorities in life.

Program Structure

4.30-6.30pm on Fridays with two Tuesday dates (Counselling Workshop – Vic park office)

10.30am-12pm on Saturdays (Fitness and movement workshop – Cockburn)

Finish date Saturday 15th December 2018
