As an educator of students ranging from pre-primary to tertiary level over many years, Naomi is no stranger to enabling people to achieve their full potential.
In helping her students pursue academic success, it was clear that an approach that developed the whole person was important. Developing programs that assisted students to recognise their strengths and address their weaknesses was paramount to achieving academic success. Assisting students to develop self confidence, perseverance and resilience was also an important factor in students experiencing academic success as it is in life generally.
A growing passion for this area led her to further study as a psychologist and to pursue a career with a continuing focus on helping people become the best they can be. Naomi works with adults as well as working with children aged 4yrs to 12yrs and their families to cope with lifes ups and downs.
In the course of her career, Naomi has presented to a wide range of audiences throughout Western Australia in the areas of child development, cultural awareness, communication, stress management and developing staff morale.
